Woomera/Roxby Downs - South Australia

A small (~35mm) species, similar morphologically in many respects to

U. armatus,  but in comparison occupies comparatively mesic coastal regions with

little radiation inland. A scrape is constructed under a rock or log with a short burrow

occupied and blocked off to avoid desiccation in the summer months. Found

coastally from SE Qld to York Peninsula , South Australia.
